The high efficiency three-stage planetary gear set conserves motor energy and reduces motor strain. Many models feature a high-torque 12 and 24 V DC series wound electric reversible motor for increased pulling power. Ramsey’s Electric Planetary Winches are available in configurations with solenoid over drum or as “Profile Design” which allows the winch to be installed in tighter spaces with a remotely mounted solenoid pack. Trust the Ramsey Crane Hoist (RCH series) for the power and safe, reliable, operation you need. When you choose to outfit your RCH with Ramsey’s optional Electronic Cable Management System (ECM), you will always know the status of your lift. The ECM monitors the status of the hoist cable and notifies the operator that the drum is turning. Operators are alerted when work begins on the last layer and again when only three wraps of cable remain on the drum.
